SAFE, SECURE COMMUNITIES FOCUS OF B.C.-ALBERTA MEETING
October 1, 2008PRINCE GEORGE – An agreement that will see B.C. and Alberta co-operate to enhance community safety and team up to tackle gang crime and repeat offenders was one of the highlights of the sixth British Columbia-Alberta joint cabinet meeting, held in Prince George.
Premier Gordon Campbell and B.C.'s cabinet joined Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach and his cabinet for the sixth joint B.C.-Alberta cabinet meeting in Prince George. Agreements were reached for the two provinces to work together on key issues such as community safety, trade, labour mobility and rural development.
