PREMIER PARTICIPATES IN CEREMONIAL BLESSING OF PLUTONIC POWER PROJECT
October 4, 2007

On Oct. 4, 2007 Premier Gordon Campbell joined Donald McInnes, President of Plutonic Power (left), and Ken Brown, Klahoose First Nation Chief (centre) to take part in a ceremony to bless and launch a key First Nations partnership, the 196-megawatt East Toba and Montrose run-of-river project. Part of the Green Power Corridor development, the project is estimated to cost $660-million. When completed, the Green Power Corridor development will represent over $3 billion of capital investment, generating sufficient electricity to meet the needs of over 500,000 B.C. homes.
