March 26, 2008 – Solicitor General John Les announces a $40,000 grant from the Civil Forfeiture Office to support the Vancouver Police Department's CON AIR program. Many people who commit crimes in other Canadian provinces end up in Vancouver in an attempt to evade their charges. The CON AIR program sends them home.
