Minister Thorpe announces $25,000 towards retail training at Dandy Lines, a Prince George business co-owned by Retail BC member Erin MacDermott, on Oct. 19, 2007. Minister Thorpe announced the funding for Retail BC's PEAK training program with Education Minister, Deputy Premier and Prince George-Mount Robson MLA Shirley Bond and Retail BC representative Misti Mussato in attendance. The Retail BC Performance, Empowerment, Attitude and Knowledge (PEAK) Program, was developed in consultation with retailers to help management and staff improve retail skills development.
