VANCOUVER CONVENTION CENTRE EXPANSION PROJECT - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2005
Tourism, Sport and the Arts Minister Olga Ilich and Vancouver Convention Centre Expansion Project Director Russ Anthony look at a model of the expanded convention centre. The expansion will feature floor-to-ceiling glass and a six-acre living roof, which will be one of the largest of its kind in the world. Once completed, the VCCEP is expected to increase the number of delegate days by close to 150%, generating an expected further $107 million annually in delegate spending.
