VANCOUVER RANKED "ULTIMATE SPORTS CITY" IN THE AMERICAS
VANCOUVER – A prestigious sports industry magazine has named the City of Vancouver the top-ranked city in the Americas and the fifth in the world among “Ultimate Sports Cities,” announced Tourism, Sport and the Arts Minister Stan Hagen.

DAWSON CREEK – Premier Gordon Campbell officially opened the 34th Northern BC Winter Games, a sport event that will highlight the achievements of 1,400 athletes and coaches from six regions across northern British Columbia.
