VANCOUVER - Colin Hansen, Minister of Economic Development for British Columbia and Gary Mar, Minister of International and Intergovernmental Relations in Alberta, met with various stakeholders at a roundtable hosted by the British Columbia Business Council in Vancouver June 6, 2006. The two ministers discussed the benefits and implementation of the British Columbia - Alberta Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement.
RICHMOND - British Columbia and Alberta have started work consulting with industry groups, government ministries, regulators, and occupational groups even before the British Columbia - Alberta Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement comes into force on April 1, 2007. Minister Colin Hansen, B.C. Economic Development Minister, Minister Gary Mar, Minister of International and Intergovernmental Relations in Alberta and Craig Jones, Executive Director, Richmond Chamber of Commerce met June 6, 2006 to discuss the agreement.
