VANCOUVER - Economic Development Minister Colin Hansen, joined Wally Oppal, Attorney-General and Minister responsible for Multiculturalism, to discuss British Columbia's immigration initiatives with Federal Immigration Minister Monty Solberg July 25, 2006. The meeting was followed by a roundtable discussion with the Joint Federal Provincial Immigration Advisory Council. The Advisory Council consists of representatives from federal, provincial and local government officials who deliver ideas, issues and concerns on immigration policies and adaptation services.
