Colin Hansen, Minister of Economic Development, and Minister responsible for the Asia Pacific Initiative, spoke to delegates from China about British Columbia's status as Canada's Pacific Gateway and the current and future trading potential between B.C. and Asia. The provincial government is working to form new opportunities for trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region and is committed to building new relationships, and developing existing ones, between B.C. and China.
