TORINO, ITALY - More than 250 people joined Colin Hansen, Minister of Economic Development, for the official opening of British Columbia-Canada Place in Torino, Italy on Sunday, January 22, 2006. Minister Hansen (right) and Sheldon Tetreault of the Métis Nation (left), open the carved doors to the house as part of the opening ceremonies. British Columbia-Canada Place will be B.C.'s home in Torino as part of the 2006 Winter Olympics, and is a key part in the Province's effort to leverage the 2010 Olympic opportunity to increase investment and economic development.
