Initiative Agreements
Last updated on December 29, 2023Initiative Agreements promote innovation, diversity, and greater uptake of lower carbon transportation fuels. Projects and activities supported by Initiative Agreements must reduce GHG emissions resulting from the use of fuels. Initiative Agreements help undertake actions that are not otherwise economically viable, and that will help create future pathways for compliance with Low Carbon Fuels Standards.
About the Program
Projects supported by the Initiative Agreement program have committed to investing over $2 billion dollars in emissions reductions in the B.C. fuels industry.
