Get information on planned road construction activities for the Highway 1 - Chase Four-Laning Project.

Monthly updates

Status

  • The contractor resumed construction for the Chase East project on May 1, 2024.
  • The updated completion date for the project is the fall of 2025.
  • The contractor will be focused on the stabilization work near the new overpass for the next seven months, with the stabilization continuing until the end of the project.
  • Other project work will continue in stages..

Scheduled closures and traffic stoppage notifications

  • Random minor delays of less than 5 minutes, Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Blasting closures between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM daily. Expect closures of up to 20 mins in both directions along Hwy 1
