Consultations and Engagement

The Ministry expresses its sincere gratitude to all participants of consultations and engagement. Where applicable, the Ministry incorporated feedback, comments and suggestions to ensure that the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) reflects the diverse perspectives found across our province. 

Engagement on the following is now complete:

  • Low Carbon Fuels Act
  • Low Carbon Fuels (General) Regulation
  • Low Carbon Fuels (Technical) Regulation 

As of January 1, 2024, the Low Carbon Fuels Act and the above regulations are now in force. 

The Ministry remains open to engagement and welcomes feedback at any time. To keep informed on future engagement on the LCFS please email us and we will add you to our distribution list.
